This guesthouse offers modern facilities and a friendly staff. The location is convenient, with many restaurants and popular sights nearby. The hostel is also close to subway stations, making it easy to explore the city. there is a common space with a kitchen available for guests to use.
The showers can be difficult to operate and may result in water getting everywhere. The size of the curtains on the beds leaves some privacy to be desired, as people passing by can see inside.

We had a great time staying at this charming guest house! Located just a short walk from Nagoya station, it is nestled in a lovely old-fashioned Japanese shopping street with unique shops, restaurants, and cafes. the private plywood box we slept in was like a capsule hotel, but with a special hostel/guest house flair. the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, always willing to assist with a smile. it was a unique and enjoyable experience. Cons: Nothing bad to say about our stay here! 👍.

The shared Japanese, style room may be a bit tight for larger groups, but the friendly staff and cozy atmosphere make up for it.

The Japanese style room on the second floor was really nice and added to the overall experience. The antichambers for the shower rooms were surprisingly spacious compared to other hostels I've stayed in. The location of the hotel was great, with plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance.
There was some miscommunication upon arrival and it took a while to receive our room key and instructions. The shower cabins were quite small and not very comfortable.

For the price we paid, we got amazing value - a clean, comfortable room with a great shower/toilet. The location was perfect, with plenty of delicious dining options just outside the door. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
Breakfast items could have been better - maybe some fresh fruit or pastries would have been a nice addition.

I absolutely loved my stay at Cafe & Guest House Nagonoya! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel at ease even after a grueling day of traveling. The capsule-style beds were surprisingly comfortable and had enough space for my bags. I appreciated the small shelf where I could charge my phone, and having a fan and a window in the capsule was a great touch. The washing machine on-site was convenient, and the showers and bathroom were clean and well-maintained. There was also plenty of common area space to hang out, and the fact that they let you continue to relax at the cafe after hours was a bonus.
Felt completely happy, no complaints.
